Giving back

Greatland Adventures is committed to giving back to the greater Alaska community. Service and support are infused into our core values.

Here are a few of our favorite charities in Alaska:

  • Food Bank of Alaska: dedicated to eliminating hunger in Alaska by obtaining and providing food to partner agencies feeding hungry people.
  • August Fund: To provide veterinary care, and loving retirement homes for racing sled dogs from Iditarod, Yukon Quest, and professional sprint kennels.
  • Covenant House: Covenant House builds a bridge to hope for young people facing homelessness and survivors of trafficking through unconditional love, absolute respect, and relentless support.
  • Read On the Fly/Best Beginnings Alaska*: Providing free books and encouraging literacy for traveling kids at airports throughout Alaska. *Fiscal sponsor of Read On the Fly – designate funds to this specific program.

We also support these organizations:

  • American Cancer Society
  • Iditarod
  • Alaska Junior Theater
  • University of Fairbanks Volleyball Team
  • Catholic Services
